Finding Your Ring Size

The perfect fit is essential for both comfort and security. A well-fitted ring should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and feel snug but comfortable at the base of your finger. Too loose, and you risk losing your precious Vinca piece; too tight, and it might cause discomfort throughout the day.

We understand that finding your exact ring size can sometimes be challenging, especially when shopping online. That's why we've outlined three methods below to help you determine your perfect size from the comfort of your home. If you're purchasing one of our rings as a gift, these methods can be used discreetly to find their size too.

The String Method

Find a piece of string, thin strip of paper, or dental floss that's at least 4 inches long.
Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger where you plan to wear the ring.
Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps to complete the circle.
Measure the length from the end to your mark in millimeters using a ruler.
Use our conversion chart below to find your ring size based on this measurement.

Pro tip: Measure your finger 2-3 times, especially at different times of day, as finger size fluctuates.

The Existing Ring Method

Select a ring that already fits comfortably on the intended finger.
Place the ring on a flat surface with good lighting.
Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters (from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge).
Find your size on our conversion chart using this measurement.
For extra accuracy, trace the inside of your ring on a piece of paper and measure the diameter of the circle.

Note: Make sure to use a ring that fits the same finger where you plan to wear your new Vinca piece.

Professional Sizing

For the most accurate sizing:

Visit a local jeweler who can measure your finger professionally with a ring sizer.
Many jewelers offer this service for free or at a minimal cost.
Mention that you're specifically looking for your size in US sizing.
If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for wider bands and sizing down for thinner styles.

Remember that your dominant hand is typically slightly larger than your non-dominant hand, and your fingers can change size depending on temperature, time of day, and other factors. When in doubt, we're happy to help you determine the perfect size for your Vinca ring.
