Yes, we frequently design convertible brooches. We can seamlessly build a hidden bail or mechanism into the back of the design, allowing it to easily slip onto a solid gold chain to be worn as a statement necklace.
Absolutely. We love heirloom redesign. We can safely extract diamonds, sapphires, rubies, or pearls from your old jewelry and thoughtfully arrange them into your new custom brooch design. We can also melt down and reuse your old gold.
For fine jewelry brooches, security is paramount. We use premium, heavy-duty joint mechanisms and locking safety clasps (often called a trombone or revolving safety catch) to ensure your brooch stays securely attached to your clothing.
Because brooches are pinned to outerwear, suits, and scarves, they require minimal direct skin contact but should be protected from perfumes and hairsprays. Like all Vinca jewelry, your custom brooch comes with complimentary lifetime professional cleaning and maintenance at our studio.
