Grant and Jenny met in Westport and, over the past six years, have built a life they love together in Kansas City — a place that has become home for their story.
The place that changed everything
In those early days, Mill Creek Park became the place they returned to as their relationship grew — familiar, grounding, and part of the way they spent time together.“Mill Creek is the place I first knew I was in love with him.”

When Grant proposed, he chose that same spot — bringing their story back to the place where she first realized what their relationship meant.
July at La Villa

Jenny and Grant were married this past July at La Villa, surrounded by family and friends. The celebration reflected everything they had built together — rooted in love, history, and the life they share.
A ring with history

Jenny’s ring once belonged to her grandmother — a piece already full of love and memory. With Vinca’s help, they redesigned it into something that carries that history forward while becoming a symbol of their own story too.
“It means so much to carry a ring that holds my grandmother’s history and our own story now too.”
Carrying it forward

As they begin this next chapter, Grant and Jenny say they grateful — for the place that holds their story, the family they come from, and the future they’re stepping into together.
